Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Information entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Wilkinson County Court Docket does not maintain a court-record database or store the search terms entered into a provider’s tool.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If an email is sent to the site operator, the message and contact details may be retained to respond or administer the request. They are not sold as a court-record list and may be disclosed only when a legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, the site and its service providers may receive technical visit information:
- IP address and related connection information
- Browser, device, and operating-system details
- Pages viewed and the time of each request
- Referring page or service, when available
- General diagnostic and security logs
- Visit timestamps
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics tools may be used to measure traffic, improve delivery, and understand use of the pages. Browser settings can limit cookies, though some services may work differently when they are blocked.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and contact information may be used to operate and secure the site, respond to a message, diagnose errors, measure aggregate traffic, direct a submitted query to the chosen provider, and support advertising or referral relationships. It is not used to create or maintain a Wilkinson County case dossier.
No Court-Record Data on File
Wilkinson County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain official court dockets, case files, hearing calendars, or personal court-record profiles. The content identifies public access routes. Circuit, Chancery, Justice, municipal, and federal records remain with their respective custodians and follow court-specific access rules.
The Mississippi Public Records Act, including Miss. Code §§25-61-5, 25-61-7, and 25-61-10, is the nonjudicial public-record framework for written requests, actual-cost fees, and available electronic formats. Mississippi judicial access is separately governed by applicable law, court rules, MEC procedures, courthouse viewing, and PAMEC terms.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search tools are operated by outside providers. A query submitted to one is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy practices, including its retention and sharing choices. Review the provider’s policy before supplying information. The site does not control its results, service terms, or charges.
Links to Other Websites
Official links may lead to Mississippi clerks, courts, MEC/PAMEC, PACER, and other institutions. Each destination controls its own availability and privacy practices. An outbound link does not make Wilkinson County Court Docket responsible for another website’s content or handling of data.
Who Might See Your Data
Limited information may be processed by the service providers needed to run the site:
- Hosting and security providers
- Analytics providers
- Search partners selected by a visitor
- Advertising or referral providers
- Professional advisers when needed to protect legal rights
- Authorities when disclosure is required by valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for the information the site handles. No internet system is entirely risk free, so absolute security cannot be promised. Avoid sending sensitive personal information, sealed-record material, or information about minors through an ordinary website contact method.
Users Under 18
The site is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If the operator learns that such information was provided, it may be removed where practicable.
Your Data Rights
You may ask about personal information supplied directly to the site, request correction of inaccurate contact details, or request deletion where retention is not required. The Mississippi Public Records Act is not a general right to obtain judicial case material through this private reference site. For an official court record, use the court or clerk that holds it and ask about the court’s access rules.
Updates to This Policy
The operator may revise this policy as the site or applicable practices change. The version posted here takes effect when published.
